Dear Federal Employee:

The Coastal Carolina Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) provides us with the opportunity to get involved and make a difference. With hundreds of organizations (state, local, national, and international) to choose from, CFC enables us to support a favorite cause, or to find a new one.

This year is the 50th anniversary of the CFC. It offers us a unique chance to reflect on the significant accomplishments, and impact, this campaign has achieved over the last five decades. As one of the most efficient and effective channels for philanthropic giving, the CFC has provided Federal employees with an accountable, flexible way to donate to the charities of their choice. This anniversary also gives us an opportunity to celebrate the compassion, selflessness, and sense of responsibility of those who have gone before us. With an ever-expanding range of donation options, Federal employees have utilized the CFC to provide those in need with more than $6 billion since contributions first began being tracked in 1964.

It is a great honor to serve as the Chair of the 2011 Coastal Carolina CFC and I look forward to working with you. On behalf of your fellow leaders, the CFC team and the beneficiaries of the campaign, thank you in advance for your time, your enthusiasm and your commitment.
